Other Repair Parts for your Troll
Have an injured troll?
The Troll's face and top decoration seem to see the most damage over time due to storage, accidental falls, or playful encounters with overfriendly pets! And the troll will always look a lot better if these features are restored to their original condition (which is what we do here when making repairs).
But if you are only missing 1or 2 parts, then you might be able to locate suitable replacements on your own (like for instance a new nut for a nose), and even if most of the top decorations are missing... you can opt to give it a new look and choose to remove the remainder of those and replace with something simple like cutoff pine cone, dried moss, or a leaf.
Fortunately, most minor surgery can be performed on an outpatient basis at your own habitat, which will save you medical transportation costs and be less stressful on the patient over sending it back to us! (which is also an option). Often all you will need is a hot melt glue gun (or other type of adhesive), the right parts, and maybe a little bit of guidance from our medical staff. Removing old parts can easily be done with the tip of a hot glue gun by melting the old adhesive and removing the damaged part.
We always want your trolls to look their best, and can provide some of the more commonly needed repair parts to get them back in shape (these can be ordered below). And to look their best, it is a better match to replace both eyes if one is missing, or if possible... all of a decoration, rather than trying to match new parts with older ones.
The top decoration materials you can order here, come loose in a bag with carefully selected and matched parts so you can replicate the pictured design for that size.
If unsure what is needed:
Because of the wide variety of troll sizes and parts that we have used over the years and us knowing what your troll looked like originally, it might be best that you send us a picture or two so we can determine what actually needs to be replaced or reworked.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Troll listed size is approximate height to the tip of the original top decoration (not to the top of it's head).
