Her name is Caretta, and her mission is to protect the threatened Caretta caretta, the loggerhead sea turtle, which nests on the beach.

River Trolls #105
Inspired by the original Ken Arensbak drawing of the Owls watching the Trolls, watching the River Trolls, guarding the Fish; this lovely Troll couple represents the fundamental Arensbak Troll philosophy that “Nature is our life and concern”. The female of the species cares for the fishes (made from a walnut with pine cone pieces for fins). The male of the species cares for the turtles (made from a walnut with pine cone pieces for the head and feet). The male is apparently a bit overzealous with his caring for the turtles, as he has two that have climbed on top of his head.

Hot Tub Trolls #106
Perhaps the most mischievous of all Trolls, these guys enjoy observing the many vacationers to the Smoky Mountains and have noticed how much humans like hot tubs. As a result, Mr. and Mrs. HotTub Troll have acquired their own hot tub, complete with little towels for drying off, rubber ducky’s, and trolly beverages (the glasses made with acorn caps). The towels even match Mrs. HotTub Troll’s blue bathing suit – how fashionable! They apparently have been splashing around quite a bit in the tub because they have water all over them, and a ducky has even gotten caught in Mr. HotTub Troll’s tail!

Sometimes Trolls, become adventurous and set out to travel across the country. They are often seen carrying maps, to trek the adventure they are on, and are known to collect stickers from the places they visit. These stickers they display proudly on the suitcase they carry.

Twilight Trolls #110
Bella, Edward, and Jacob are often seen wandering in the meadows, walking in the woods, or climbing the mountain peaks, where they may be seen basking in the sun above the clouds, where Edward seems to shimmer in the sunlight. Bella is torn between Jacob, of the Quileute Indian tribe, and Edward the young vampire. In this group you find Jane who is part of the Volturi. They are similar to Royalty but enforce the Vampire laws.

The King and Queen of the May are decked out and ready to dance the Maypole Dance on the Midsummer holiday of Beltane. Because they love each other so much, they have decided to become troll and wife on this joyous day, as well. In typical troll fashion, instead of being handfasted, they are "tailfasted," with red and green ribbons joining their two tails together. May they live a beautiful life together, filled with flowers, sprouts, and much joy!

Troll's Story:
During most of the year, Flora is a typical troll. But, once troller derby season starts, she straps on her quad skates, safety gear, and puts on her Troll City Troller Derby jersey and becomes "Ferocious Flora", team captain for the Troll City Troller Derby Girls. Though feared in troller derby as one of the fastest and best jammers, off the track she is known for her respect and warm-hearted support of all her troller derby teammates and opponents.
