Gnomes

Gnomes

Guardians of earth's hidden treasures!

Akin to and often mistaken for Trolls.  Noticeably different, with their long beards (males only!)

and the fact that they spend a good part of their time underground in caves and caverns (to better protect earth's riches).

Because of this they were often known as "mining spirits".

Mermaid

Mermaids

Many years ago when this country was still young and there were far fewer people about,

it was not uncommon to see playful mermaids sunbathing on inland rocks or even swimming alongside the sailing ships far out to sea.

And while still a part of our world today, mermaids now have become much more elusive.

Comes with her own 6 page story book "A Mermaid's Tale" (you can see it folded up and tucked behind her tail.)  5" ht.

Woodland Witches

More active around Halloween when they come out of the woods

and blend right in with all of the similarly attired kids (and grownups!). Usually very reclusive; they can be found

year-round if you know where to look!

Available in the three different versions; w/broom, w/cauldron, and w/spell book & wand.

They stand about 9” to the top of their black felt hat and come with a special tag.

Handmade here at the studio using dyed sisal & jute fibers, a tree trunk base, and other natural materials.

Woodland Witch w/ Lit Cauldron - AKA Agatha

Although Agatha is noticeable around Halloween , she is quite busy all year concocting special potions in her

ancient black cauldron (especially on nights with a full moon!). And if you venture in the woods on those bright moon-lit nights,  you might catch a

glimpse of her at work. Just look for the soft iridescent glow from her cauldron as the special ingredients start blending together and the magic begins.

At 12" tall (to top of felt hat) she is a bit taller than the other witches. The special cauldron differs slightly from the one pictured.

It is now made from a black painted, turned wooden bowl which is larger than before and shows off more of the glowing light.

This cauldron sits on a thin wooden stump that is attached to the witches base. And it is lit by a long lasting, bright white LED

that shines upwards from the bottom of the cauldron through an iridescent tinsel, which gives off a faint purple, emerald green, and bluish glow.

Power is provided by a plug in the wall type (low power output) DC transformer with a 66" cord.

All of our Woodland Witches are handmade here at the studio using dyed sisal & jute fibers, a tree trunk base, and other natural materials.

...like the cauldron but don't need to have it lit? Then maybe you would like her younger sister Esmerelda, who is one of the trio pictured in the same section.
